About Alotta

Fossil energy sources are costly and harmful to the environment. Switching to renewable energy can seem challenging, especially in remote areas lacking infrastructure. That’s where Alotta comes in.

Founded in 2020, and based in Ålesund, Norway, Alotta (formerly Inseanergy) began with one mission: to cut emissions. The aquaculture industry had an expressed need to replace fossil fuels, and as a sector we knew well, it became the natural starting point. Our floating solar systems were developed to meet this challenge head-on.

As a result, our turn-key solutions for the aquaculture industry, constructed on repurposed fish farming cages, emerged as Alotta Solar Hybrid. Fish farmers have already adopted this solution, as several clients use our technology to power their operations today.

Having already made an impact in the aquaculture industry, we are now expanding into new sectors and industries that often rely on polluting energy sources. Looking ahead, we are developing and providing zero-emission energy systems across various industries, allowing everyone, anywhere, to harness the power of renewable energy sources.
