Alotta is looking for a CFO

As we expand our activities and gear up to become a leading global player, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic CFO to join our team!

As our new CFO, you will be an important contributor to the further development of Alotta by leading our accounting and finance functions. We are looking for a CFO who can both be hands-on in relation to daily operational follow-up and, at the same time, able to work strategically. The CFO will work closely with the rest of the team in Alotta to develop the company further and to be a strong contributor to the growth plan of the company.

Responsibilities and specific tasks include

• Overall responsibility for the company’s accounting and financial function

• Responsibility for reporting internally and externally in the company

• Responsibility for budget, forecast, and cash flow work

• Financial analyses and presentations

• Be the company's contact person for the bank, audit, and financial institutions

• Responsible for applications to and follow–up on public subsidies

• Prepare and report at board meetings, board secretary

• Sparring partner for management and owners in overall financial matters

• Play a key role in the company's further growth and contribute to business development

• Responsible for sustainability reporting and other regulatory reporting

• Support on legal issues related to contracts, be a good discussion partner related to contract negotiations

The ideal candidate and requirements

• Higher relevant education at Masters level

• Solid operational management experience and professional expertise in economics, finance, and accounting

• International experience is an advantage

• CFO experience from industrial/production companies - preferably project-based

• Good understanding of different business models

• Has a comprehensive commercial understanding and can support Sales in contract negotiations, including commercial conditions

• Strong system understanding

• Good Norwegian/English skills.
