A new chapter: Hi, we’re Alotta!

In 2020, we embarked on a mission to deliver renewable energy solutions tailored to the aquaculture sector. Back then, we were a small but passionate team of four, united by our belief in a more sustainable future. Fast-forward to today, and we’ve grown into a dynamic group of eight, each driven by energy, humor, and unwavering commitment to tackling one of the world’s most pressing challenges—the energy crisis.
As we’ve evolved, so have our ambitions. The world is at a critical point where the transition to renewable energy is not just an option but an urgent necessity. Yet, this transition is fraught with challenges, particularly in rural and offshore locations where inadequate infrastructure and connectivity pose significant barriers.
At the heart of our strategy lies solar power - a cornerstone of the global clean energy transition. Our floating solar power plants present a unique solution, reducing the strain on fragile land habitats and offering a viable, sustainable energy source for remote and offshore areas. This innovation not only aligns with international energy and climate goals but also addresses some of the critical challenges associated with traditional renewable energy deployment.
From the beginning of our journey, we’ve been fortunate to have the support and belief of many. Forming a partnership with AKVA Group, the world’s largest supplier of aquaculture equipment, was a significant milestone. The trust and investment from Norselab and Umoe have further empowered us to carve out a roadmap that extends our impact even further.
Our mission is clear: to make renewable energy accessible to more people in more places. As we’ve grown and expanded our vision, it became apparent that our original brand no longer fully encapsulated the scope of our ambitions. While our technology and focus on aquaculture remain integral, our vision now extends far beyond.
It’s time for our brand to evolve. This rebranding is not just a change in logo or color palette; it’s a strategic move designed to reflect our deepened commitment to empowering communities and industries with clean, renewable energy. We aim to distinguish ourselves in the market, showcase the tangible benefits we offer, and communicate our aspirations more clearly.
Our new brand embodies our future vision; it’s a positive, energetic identity designed to inspire and reflect our company culture. We’re all about finding solutions, making things happen, having fun along the way, and contributing to a brighter, cleaner future.
